Why Do You Create Music?
Posted by: The Medullary Paralysis in FAQ on February 27th, 2010
We create music because we need to share our unique point of view. We are writing a lot of songs right now about what everybody will face throughout their life, sooner or later. For example, we have a song (Not Enough) explaining why depression is not a valid excuse, you know, it’s mankind that creates Good. Or a song (Where Is the Silence) about the concept of success and failure. Another song (Mental Disorders) is about common sense, what is considered healthy and right and the concept of the need of leadership. We are also exploring other fields, wicked relationships, joblessness and obviously how to enjoy life in a new way. Bla bla bla.
How and When Did the Band Form?
Posted by: The Medullary Paralysis in FAQ on February 26th, 2010
The band started gelling and solidifying in December 2007. We were not satisfied with how our friends enjoyed life. We knew we were different. It was a natural choice to say no to banality of those days.

Thank You B-Side Live Pub For Your Lack of Organization and Transparency

Our gig scheduled for February 4th in Rende, Cosenza has been canceled due to “unexpected administrative problems”. Two days ago. Is it possible? Yes, in Italy everything is possible. Sometimes we think real music doesn’t exist here. Just bored cover bands and boring pubs.

Here’s the review. Thank you Andrew Hawnt!
This short, sharp shock of futuristic noise is very cool indeed. Buzzsaw guitars and punky structures are beaten to a pulp with industrial beats and electronic effects, and the songs are good enough to take the beating. This Italian trio take goth, punk, glam and industrial music and throw themselves at it like a drunk hurls himself at someone who just spilled his pint and looked at his girlfriend.
“Compassion on the Dance Floor” is a sub-three-minute burst digitally processed bile, and is very refreshing. Indeed. The other two tracks on this release, “Fashion Slave” and “Heaven Forbid” are just as punchy. Their music kind of brings to mind Marilyn Manson circa the “Mechanical Animals” album, but attacked by the Wildhearts along the way.
I’d love to hear what this bunch of nutters would come up with if they got their hands on a proper record deal, and would like to put them forward to any prospective labels as something rather unique in the sea of mediocre sub-emo bands you’re having to trawl through at the moment. This is glamorous music for deviants, and it has a brain too. Scary enough for you?

That Noise

Today the tv in the kitchen broke. For the first time I had dinner without that noise. I liked it.
